    Responsibilities

    As a Writer-Editor GS 1082 13, your typical work assignments may include:

    • Supporting the Branch Chief of Communications in carrying out the DHS internal communication strategy.
    • Implementing and supporting the internal communication plan.
    • Providing technical expertise to insure adequate and appropriate vertical and horizontal communications exist within the Department.
    • Making recommendations for the development of pertinent procedures for communication of both a general nature and that categorized as "need to know".

    Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
