As an Investigative Analyst you will perform the following duties:
Serve as an Investigative Analyst in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Information Disclosure Unit
Responsible for researching and reviewing law enforcement sensitive information maintained within HSI systems and files for the collection, analysis and dissemination of HSI law enforcement sensitive information
Provide analytical support services to assist HSI law enforcement staff and other law enforcement agencies in the furtherance of their law enforcement efforts and case development
Primary activities and functions rely heavily on understanding the various HSI law enforcement activities organizational structure, as well as understanding and analyzing law enforcement data extracted from the HSI Investigative Case Management (ICM) system
Serve as the central point of contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) coordinating office for disclosure process involving law enforcement activities and information relating to ICE/HSI

Qualifications
You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Provide analysis and research in support of law enforcement agents during the course of a law enforcement investigation
Conduct research of law enforcement agency databases and files to identify trends, relationships, and possible evolving threats
Address requests for information requiring research and analysis of law enforcement databases and files
Address discovery requests related to criminal and civil litigation cases involving a Federal Law Enforcement Agency.
You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Provide analysis and research in support of law enforcement agents during the course of a law enforcement investigation and conduct research of law enforcement agency databases and files to identify trends, relationships, and possible evolving threats
Address requests for information requiring research and analysis of law enforcement databases and files and address discovery requests related to criminal and civil litigation cases involving a Federal Law Enforcement Agency
Address requests for the disclosure of information relating to a law enforcement agency's Confidential Informant Program, from outside federal, state and local agencies to assist in the furtherance of their law enforcement efforts
Address Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty requests from foreign governments
Brief senior leadership, outside Agency peers and Legal Counsel on research and analysis pertaining to an agency's law enforcement activities
